Through our own branches in Turkey, we continuously maintain the information chain with the importer and its customs clearance agents. In addition to the usual customs clearance process, in which the goods are unloaded in the customs warehouse, we also offer the option of so-called Supalan customs clearance. Customs clearance is carried out directly on the vehicle in the bonded warehouse without the goods being unloaded, which generally results in faster customs clearance. This requires special permits, which the importer must have, and only the importer’s goods may be on the vehicle.

Customs information

Due to the fact that Turkey is considered an EU third country, it is necessary that the goods are made available in a customs warehouse where the importer carries out the relevant customs clearance procedures. After this step, transportation is usually carried out by the importer to the final recipient. On request, we can also organize the onward carriage for you.

We can also carry out transports from Turkey to the EU for you. After loading at the exporter’s premises, the goods are cleared through customs at the customs office and a T1 is issued. In order to carry out the subsequent import clearance for you, we need the customs agent who will clear the goods through customs in the respective country. Thanks to our many years of experience, you can also have import clearance handled by LIFA. Delivery to the customs warehouse is not necessary, as import clearance is usually carried out at the national border.
